Chiara Sedini, milanese, si forma nella classe di Giacomo Calderoni, corno inglese dell’Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala, da cui eredita la passione per questo strumento che la porterà a vivere le esperienze più interessanti della sua attività. Infatti appena diplomata, entra a far parte dell’Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala dove suona sotto la guida del M° Muti. La sua formazione strumentale, dopo gli studi in Conservatorio, prosegue sotto la guida dei maestri D.Dini Ciacci e alla scuola tedesca di I. Goritzki. Ha suonato con diverse formazioni cameristiche e sinfoniche interpretando diversi generi musicali ricoprendo il ruolo di oboe e corno inglese presso l’Orchestra RAI di Milano, Carme, Pomeriggi Musicali, Orchestra dell’Arena di Verona, I Solisti Veneti, Filarmonica della Scala, Orchestra del Festival di Brescia e Bergamo, Orchestra Toscanini di Parma, Haydn di Bolzano, Orchestra Regionale Toscana, Teatro Regio di Torino e Filarmonica 900. Durante la sua attività ha collaborato con importanti nomi tra i quali Giulini, Prètre, Berio, Ozawa, Imbal, De Burgos, Chailly, Chung. Dal 1993 al 1996 ricopre il ruolo di corno inglese presso l’orchestra del Teatro Massimo di Palermo e successivamente presso l’Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino con la quale suona, tra gli altri, con i Maestri Mehta, Chung e Ozawa.Nel 2007 è stata invitata dall’Orchestra dell’Accademia di S.Cecilia per un’incisione con il M° Pappano. Vincitrice di concorso, è titolare della cattedra di oboe presso il Conservatorio di Alessandria.
Chiara Sedini. From 1993 to 1996 she played the role of English horn at the orchestra of Teatro Massimo of Palermo and later at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Orchestra with whom she played, among others, with Maestri Mehta, Chung and Ozawa.
In 2007 she was invited by the Orchestra of the Academy of S. Cecilia for a recording with Maestro Pappano. Winner of the competition, she is professor of oboe at the Conservatory of Alessandria.
