Dal 1990, Gilles TRESSOS è docente di sassofono al Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional di Poitiers. Insegna didattica e pedagogia nel dipartimento di formazione degli insegnanti, nel CNSMD di PARIGI. È coordinatore e insegnante del Centre d’études supérieures musique et danse di Poitou-Charentes.
Fa parte del quartetto di sax Habanera, ha ricevuto numerosi primi premi internazionali di musica da camera. Con questo ensemble, Gilles TRESSOS si esibisce molto in Francia e all’estero e ha registrato tre album per l’etichetta ALPHA.
Ha creato «Saxophone Evenement» nel 2000 con il quale organizza l’Accademia estiva Habanera e il suo festival a Poitiers.
È stato nominato come consulente e tester per Selmer-Paris e ha contribuito a ideare il nuovo sassofono baritono serie III.
Since 1990, Gilles TRESSOS has been teaching the saxophone in the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional of Poitiers. He teaches didactique in pedagogy in the department of Teacher Training, in CNSMD of PARIS. He is a coordinator and teacher in the Centre d’études supérieures musique et danse de Poitou-Charentes.
Belonging to the Habanera sax quartet, he was awarded many first international music chamber prizes. With this ensemble, Gilles TRESSOS is widely heard in France and abroad and has recorded three albums for ALPHA production.
He created « Saxophone Evenement » in 2000 with which he organizes the summer Habanera Academy and it’s festival in Poitiers.
He has been consulted as a testing adviser for Selmer-Paris and helped devise the new baryton saxophone serie III.
