Fagottista precoce, Lola Descours entra all’età di 19 anni nella celeberrima Orchestre de Paris sotto le direzioni di Christoph Eschenbach e Paavo Järvi. Oltre l’attività all’interno della Orchestre de Paris, Lola si presenta come primo fagotto nella London Philharmonic Orchestra, la Filarmonica di Rotterdam e l’Orchestra da Camera di Parigi. Interessata alla formazione più piccola e rare, ha lavorato con la Mahler Chamber Orchestra, Les Dissonances, Spira Mirabilis e Alma Chamber Orchestra. Laureata al Conservatorio di Parigi nel 2010 nella classe di Marc Trenel, ha studiato anche in Germania con il fagottista norvegese Dag Jensen ed è stata premiato più volte in competizioni internazionali quali IDRS (1 ° premio Inghilterra 2009), Lodz (Polonia 3 ° premio nel 2011) Crusell (Finlandia 2 ° premio 2011) e Muri (Svizzera semi finalista 2016).
