Si impone a 18 anni all’attenzione internazionale vincendo il 1° Premio all’Aeolus International Competition di Düsseldorf e il 1° Premio al The Muri Competition 2016, primo italiano ad aggiudicarsi questi prestigiosi riconoscimenti. È inoltre vincitore del Premio Abbado 2015 e del 1° Premio nei Concorsi Internazionali di Fagotto “AudiMozart 2016”, “G. Rossini” di Pesaro e “Città di Chieri”. A 19 anni vince il posto di Primo Fagotto Solista nell’Orchestra del Konzerthaus di Berlino. Nel 2018 è risultato vincitore del 2° Premio all’Internationaler Instrumentalwettbewerb Markneukirchen e del 1° Premio all’International Fox-Gillet Competition 2018 organizzato dalla International Double Reed Society IDRS a Granada. Nello stesso anno è diventato Primo Fagotto Solista presso la Luzerner Sinfonieorchester. Nel 2019, all’età di 22 anni, diventa Primo Fagotto presso l’Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI di Torino e vince il secondo premio, con primo non assegnato, presso il prestigioso Concorso Internazionale dell’ARD di Monaco. Nel 2021 vince il concorso di Primo Fagotto presso l’orchestra del Royal Concertgebouw di Amsterdam.
A 10 anni inizia lo studio del fagotto e a 16 si diploma con lode e menzione d’onore presso il Conservatorio di Musica “O. Respighi” di Latina. A 15 anni viene ammesso presso l’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia sotto la guida del M° Francesco Bossone. Nel 2018 consegue il Master Music Performance e due anni dopo il Master Specialized Music Performance presso l’Hochschule der Künste di Zurigo nella classe di Matthias Rácz.
Andrea Cellacchi gains international prestige after winning the 1st Prize at the 10th Aeolus International Competition in Düsseldorf, Germany, and the 1st Prize at The Muri Competition 2016, Switzerland, being the first Italian who has ever gained these prestigious awards. He is also winner of the Premio Abbado 2015 and of the 1st Prize in the International Bassoon Competitions “Audimozart 2016”, “G. Rossini” in Pesaro and “Città di Chieri”. 19-year-old, he wins the Principal First Bassoon position at the Konzerthausorchester. In 2018 he wins the 2nd Prize at the Internationaler Instrumentalwettbewerb Markneukirchen and the 1st Prize at the International Fox-Gillet Competition 2018 organised by the International Double Reed Society IDRS in Granada. In 2019, 22-year-old, he becomes Principal Bassoon at the RAI National Symphony Orchestra in Turin and he wins the 2nd Prize, with no awarded 1st, at the prestigious ARD International Competition in Munich. In 2021 he wins the Principal Bassoon position at the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam.
He begins his journey with the bassoon at the age of 10 and 16-year-old he graduates with maximum grade at the Conservatorio di Musica “O. Respighi” in Latina. 15-year-old, he is admitted to enter the “Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia” in Rome, where he attended the Bassoon Master Course held by M° Francesco Bossone. In 2018 he got the Master Music Performance and two years later the Master Specialized Music Performance at the “Zürcher Hochschule der Künste ZHdK” in Zürich, in the class of Professor Matthias Rácz.
